Psychotherapy as a discipline and field of work is developing rapidly which is reflected in the rising demand of psychologists, the amount of psychotherapeutic research and the way in which psychology is practiced and unfolded in today's society. Development has seen the rise of new innovative treatments and therapeutic “products”, as well as attempts to collate these to shape a new narrative about psychotherapy.
