Violence

This thematic package focuses on violence as a complex and pervasive social phenomenon. Violence can be both an individual experience and a collective reality, and the collection of articles examines a range of different forms of violence – including sexual violence, rape, digital violence, war crimes and structural violence. Across these perspectives, violence is understood not only as physical acts, but also as something that is produced and perpetuated through social, cultural and political processes.
