The use of audio, video, and interactive media in education is experiencing significant growth in higher education. Podcast technology is considered useful and an open distribution channel for lectures in many places, while video conferencing stands out as a flexible and environmentally friendly technology.

The articles document both positive and less favorable experiences with these technologies, as well as theoretical reflections and research. The articles indicate a diverse use of audio, video, and interactive media in education, with particular emphasis on the investment in video as an area of focus.
