Submissions out of issue

 

Contributions out of issue are accepted twice a year.

Spring:

• For the spring issue final manuscripts must be received latest by 1 July. 

Autumn:

• For the autumn issue final manuscripts must be received latest by 15 October. 

 

After the submission deadline, the editorial secretary forwards the received manuscripts to the editorial management, which decides which three (max) submissions will move forward in the editorial process. 

The editorial secretary then assigns each article a responsible editor from the permanent editorial board. The article then follows the same editorial workflow as all other contributions. 

Note: Deadlines must be respected. Late submissions are rejected, regardless of completeness.  Women, Gender & Research does not offer authors the option of transferring their article to another or later issue. In that case they must resubmit.
