Resumé

In ”The Greatness of Arafat”, Gilles Deleuze argues that the colonization of Palestine and the subsequent genocidal overtaking of its territories and movement of its populations, by Israel, is the consequence of a capitalist logic in which Israel and USA stand together. In contrast, Deleuze celebrates Yasser Arafat as a leader without territory, and the Palestinian awareness of and insistence on having territorial and political rights.
