Call for Papers: The Danish Journal of Higher Education No. 41
Open Call for Papers: The Danish Journal of Higher Education No. 41
Dear practitioners, researchers and developers in higher education
We are now opening submissions for the forthcoming issue of The Danish Journal of Higher Education – DUT 41 – which will be an open issue without a set theme.
This open call for papers therefore invites contributions from everyone who in various ways practises, researches, or develops pedagogy, didactics and learning in higher education. We encourage a diversity of voices, disciplines, approaches, methods and topics — covering research, development and practice within higher education in the broad sense.
The Danish Journal of Higher Education works with different submission types, which allows for diversity — including in genres and article types.
Articles
A DUT article contributes to research and development within the Danish university pedagogy field. DUT welcomes articles from all higher education institutions, provided they are relevant to university pedagogy.
DUT accepts articles that are either empirical or theoretical. The journal has different requirements for the content of empirical and theoretical articles. DUT articles undergo double-blind peer review. Read more about the criteria for empirical and theoretical DUT Articles here: https://tidsskrift.dk/dut/forfattervejledning/artikel
Debate
A DUT debate contribution is of broad relevance to the readership of The Danish Journal of Higher Education. Contributions should preferably be debate-provoking and have substance, topicality and relevance. Clear problem statements, argumentation and positioning are decisive. A DUT Debate is evaluated through an open review process and you can read more about the genre here: https://tidsskrift.dk/dut/forfattervejledning/debat
Guides
A DUT Guide communicates practice-oriented ideas, recommendations or development initiatives for teachers in higher education. Guides are intended to inspire, provide tools for, or be applicable in one’s own practice. Submissions must be rooted in relevant subject-matter expertise within the Guide’s area, have a teaching-development focus and include practical experience (for example in the form of practice-based or application-oriented research and development). Authors may be invited or may contact the editorial team prior to submitting a possible contribution. A DUT Guide is evaluated through an open review process and you can see more about the format here: https://tidsskrift.dk/dut/forfattervejledning/guide
The journal’s readers may in principle be teachers from all disciplines, university-pedagogy researchers, educational and teaching developers, specialists and consultants, as well as educational leaders and administrators. All submissions must be intelligible to a generally interested university-pedagogical public.
Please follow the journal’s guidelines for formatting, anonymisation and submission in relation to the types and ensure that your submission meets the specified criteria for the article genre. Guidance is available on our website: https://tidsskrift.dk/dut/Kriterier
