Call for papers: Open issue
Calling all gender studies researchers!
We hereby invite you to submit a paper for possible inclusion in an open issue of Women, Gender & Research (2024/2). Unlike special issues, an open issue allows for a wide variety of articles across disciplines and topics, thus with this issue, we encourage all types of original interdisciplinary research concerning gender, power, intersectionality and inequality, both globally and locally. We are also interested in contributions to theoretical and methodological debates within gender research, feminist theory, queer theory, critical race theory, etc.
With this open call, we would also like to extend a special encouragement to junior scholars to share their research and contribute to the issue.
The journal welcomes contributions in the form of research articles, essays, artwork, opinion pieces, book reviews and further comments thereon in keeping with editorial policy (see Submission).
Contributions in both English and the Scandinavian languages are accepted.
Deadline for abstracts (max 500 words + author bio of ca 100 words): 15th of October 2023
Notifications by: 1st of November 2023
Deadline for articles: 15th of February 2024
Envisaged publication date: 15th of November 2024
Abstracts should be submitted via tidsskrift.dk. You can submit both author bio and your abstract here – and later (if necessary), the entire article/contribution.
