Non-governmental Organizing in the People’s Republic of China – a Reading Inspired by Agential Realism

In this essay we show how various theories, not least Karen Barad’s theory of agential realism, have inspired us to a reading that opens up theorizing on non-governmental organizing in the People’s Republic of China. Drawing on Barad we define such organizing as a phenomenon that emerges through the ontologically inseparable intra-action between three entities that are conventionally viewed as separate.Downloads
