Abstract

This article analyses how the concept of interprofessionalism emerges alongside the becoming of the organizational practices of a Danish University College. The article unfolds how the concept of interprofessionalism emerges in two simultaneous ways. As a potential for innovation, that aims at changing the professionals practices in their worklife. And as a reflection of existing professional practice, that aims at preparing the students of the professions for their future practices. These two constructions of interprofessionalism as ‘innovation of practice’, and as ‘reflection of practice’, is analyzed as two ‘versions’ of the same phenomenon. In this relationship between the two versions of the same phenomenon, both the object of change, forms of change and effects of the concept emerges.
