How can peer professional coaching take place in the context of actual teaching – preferably cheapand easy? In this article I report on a research project on mathematical points in which teachers werehelped in their planning by e-mail correspondence with one colleague or through joint planning ofspecific lessons, i.e. by so-called lesson study in groups of up to six teachers. Both interventions showedthat teachers appreciate a focused peer professional coaching, and that the effect can be significanton teachers’ communication in the classroom.Referencer
