Resumé

Højresidig hjertetrombe er en livstruende og underdiagnosticeret tilstand ved tromboemboliske komplikationer.  

Ultralydsundersøgelse af hjertet (FATE) i den akutte fase kan påvise højresidige hjertetromber, og dermed bidrage til hurtig diagnostik og behandling.

Vi præsenterer en case af en 55-årig multimorbid mand med ekkokardiografisk påvist højresidig hjertetrombe, som er yderligere kompliceret af en saddel lungeembolus.

Right heart thrombus is a life-threatening and underdiagnosed condition related to thrombotic complications. An ultrasound of the heart (FATE) in the acute phase can show right heart thrombi and thereby contribute to fast diagnostics and treatment. We present a case of a 55-year-old multimorbid man with echocardiographically proven right heart thrombus further complicated by a saddle pulmonary embolism.
