Lessons from Palestine

Dette essay reflekterer over begreberne objektivitet og sandhed. Med Palæstina som et presserende politisk kald og en forudsætning for en dekolonial fremtid argumenterer det for, at objektivitet og sandhed i en kontekst af folkedrabsvold og systematisk forvrængning af virkeligheden ikke kan afvises blot som redskaber til undertrykkelse. I stedet betragter essayet dem som modfortællinger baseret på kropslige oplevelser, der er blevet voldsomt udslettet af koloniale apparater for vidensproduktion, og genvinder sandheden som situeret og nedefra og som et potentielt redskab for retfærdighed og epistemisk modstand.
