SPF becomes Nordiske Studier I Pedagogisk Filosofi (NSPF)

Dear readers, authors and reviewers,

We're posting this to let you know that SPF in its current form is ending and instead will become Nordiske Studier I Pedagogisk Filosofi (NSPF). Its base is the University Of Oslo and the editor is Professor Torill Strand. All SPF articles will still be freely available on this website, but the journal will not be publishing any more articles. Therefore we encourage authors who have submitted or are thinking about submitting to instead send your articles to NSPF. Their webpage with all relevant information, as well as their upcoming publications can be found here: Nordiske Studier I Pedagogisk Filosofi (NSPF).

ANNOUNCEMENT

Nordic Studies in Philosophy and Education

Nordic Studies in Philosophy and Education now accepts papers for peer review and publication. In particular, we invite contributions from the members of the Nordic Society of Philosophy of Education.

Nordic Studies in Philosophy and Education aims to further a lively and critical dialogue on philosophical, theoretical, normative and conceptual issues relevant for educational research, policy and practice.

This journal is a peer-reviewed, electronic, open access and non-profit journal that publishes original contributions within the field of philosophy of education. The articles can vary from philosophical analyses of topical issues regarding teaching, learning, informal education and upbringing, to in-depth studies of foundational philosophical questions relevant to today’s policies and practices. The journal publishes special issues devoted to critical analyses and debates on topical issues of educational and philosophical relevance. Moreover, the journal contains a section for book reviews.

Nordic Studies in Philosophy and Education is a continuation of Studier i Pædagogisk Filosofi (ISSN: 2244-9140).

Nordiske Studier i Pedagogisk Filosofi

Nordiske studier i Pedagogisk Filosofi tar nå imot artikler for fagfellevurdering og publisering. Spesielt inviteres bidrag fra medlemmene av det Nordiske nettverket i pedagogisk filosofi.

Nordiske Studier i Pedagogisk Filosofi skal fremme en levende og kritisk dialog om filosofiske, teoretiske, normative og konseptuelle problemstillinger relevant for pedagogisk forskning, politikk og praksis.

Dette tidsskriftet er et fagfellevurdert, elektronisk, åpent tilgjengelig og ikke-kommersielt tidsskrift som publiserer originale bidrag innenfor det pedagogisk filosofiske fagfeltet. Tema for artiklene kan variere fra filosofiske analyser av pedagogiske spørsmål forbundet med undervisning, læring, danning og oppdragelse til studier av grunnleggende filosofiske spørsmål relevant for aktuell utdanningspolitikk og - praksis. Tidsskriftet publiserer temanumre viet kritisk analyse og diskusjon av aktuelle tema av pedagogisk og filosofisk relevans. I tillegg har tidsskriftet en seksjon for bok-anmeldelser.

Nordiske Studier i Pedagogisk Filosofi er en videreføring av Studier i Pædagogisk Filosofi (ISSN: 2244-9140).
