For readers

Welcome to tidsskrift.dk

Tidsskrift.dk is the Royal Danish Library's national journal database. Here you can access more than 180 professional, scientific, and cultural journals and yearbooks in digital full text.

The majority of the articles you can find at the journals at tidsskrift.dk are Open Access, which means you are free to read and use the more than 97.000 articles on the platform - without login or payment.

What will you find here?

On tidsskrift.dk you will find peer reviewed, or by other means quality-ensured journals with a scientific scope. Some journals are continually publishing new issues, while other journals have ceased to publish. Some journals are retro digitized, meaning they were originally published in print and have subsequently been digitized and been made available here.

All the journals at tidsskrift.dk are either associated with a Danish (including Greenland and Faroe Islands) university, a Danish university college, a research program at a Danish research institution or an institution under the Ministry of culture Denmark, e.g a museum.

Tidsskrift.dk accepts all subject areas, but journals from the humanities and social studies dominate. At the front page of tidsskrift.dk you can find a complete list of all the journals published here.
