Register as reviewer

Many of the journals published on tidsskrift.dk use the portal for the entire editorial process. You may therefore be asked to submit your peer review via tidsskrift.dk. It is also possible to offer yourself as a reviewer through the tidsskrift.dk-portal for the journals that allow this. Please note that some journals use tidskrift.dk for publication only and manage the review process separately. You will find information about this on the page of each journal.

Below, you will find guides on how to register as a reviewer of one or several journals. To register as a reviewer, you must first register as a reader of the journal (due to GDPR), and then you can subsequently assign the reviewer role to your profile.

You can register in two ways:

  • at the tidsskrift.dk main page (A). This gives you the opportunity of registering as a reader and reviewer of several journals at once.
  • with a specific journal via the journal’s own website (B). This only allows you to register with one journal at the time of registration. However, you can register at more journals subsequently by following this guide.

Select journals and roles

Select one or more journals you would like to register with.

With the vast majority of journals, you have the opportunity to register as a reader. If this is not the case, it is because either, a) the journal has ceased to publish new issues or is published under a new name, or b) access to the journal requires a subscription. Note that some journals only require a subscription to access the latest issue, while previous issues are freely available.

It is necessary to register as a reader due to the GDPR. You can subsequently assign more roles to your profile.

You can register as a reviewer with the journals that have opted for this functionality.

In order to register with a journal, it is necessary to agree to have your data collected and stored in accordance with tidsskrift.dk’s and the journal’s privacy statements.
