Artiklen handler om sport for alle og demokrati, hvordan man i dag risikerer at udvikle monopolistisk sport og henleder også opmærksomheden på sport som ”varer" til eksport.

Henning Eichberg, Syddansk Universitet

Henning Eichberg, Dr.Phil.habil., is a cultural sociologist and historian at the University of Southern Denmark, Odense. His research interests lie with the history and cultural sociology of body culture and sport; studies in bodily and social movements; the theory of democracy, movement and identity. Henning authored the books Body Cultures (1998), The People of Democracy (2004), and Bodily Democracy. Towards a Philosophy of Sport for All (2010).
