Abstract

A 45-year-old man had an unfortunate encounter with a bull while working with cattle in his spare time. He was lifted into the air and sustained a penetrating injury to the groin. He was received as a trauma patient, and a CT scan revealed a 20 cm deep tract without perforation into the abdomen. The outcome was favorable, but the case highlights the importance of systematically evaluating high-energy trauma based on the mechanism of injury and performing relevant examinations, even when the patient is ABC-stable.
