2023-12-20It's almost Christmas - and Danish Journal of Education Studies (DJES) is here with a new issue (vol. 2, 2023), compiled from the latest online-published articles.
The new issue of DJES also includes an editorial for the articles titled "Uddannelse mellem utopi og virkelighed" (in English, "Education between Utopia and Reality." You can find the new issue of the journal here.

New Article in DJES: Lectio as a Motivational Technology
2023-11-06There's a new article out in DJES. This time, it focuses on the lesson system Lectio, which Lene Josiasen has analysed as a motivational technology in her "in spe" article.
Josiasen's article is our first "in spe" article. "In spe" is a format we have developed to support students' and graduates' opportunities to publish analyses based on, for example, their theses. "In spe" articles resemble research articles in terms of genre but have undergone editorial feedback and review rather than standard peer review.

New Article in DJES
2023-08-25The Danish Journal of Education Studies has published a new article. This time, Manté Vertelyté and Dorthe Staunæs from DPU at Aarhus University contributed a Danish translation of their previously published article "From tolerance work to pedagogies of unease: affective investments in Danish antiracist education" in the Nordic Journal of Studies in Educational Policy (NordSTEP). In Danish, the title has been changed to "Affektive investeringer i dansk antiracistisk pædagogik".
