About
Journal for Research in Sickness and Society is an interdisciplinary journal with medical anthropology as its focal point.
The purpose of the journal is to promote and develop research at the intersections of different disciplines, especially the humanities, social sciences and health sciences.
The journal wishes to be a forum where these disciplines can meet and inspire each other, epistemologically, methodologically and theoretically. The journal further conveys the expanding professional collaborations and research initiatives that take place at the mentioned intersections, and contribute to theoretical development of healthcare topics.
The journal adresses everyone with an interest in research into illness, disease and society, and in particular researchers and practitioners in the healthcare field.
