Affekt og Antropocæn tidsforstyrrelse i Ice Watch

Resumé

Med udgangspunkt i Olafur Eliasson og Minik Rosings is-installation Ice Watch (2014/2015) diskuterer denne artikel det forhold til tid, som kendetegner vores klimaforandrede virkelighed, samt hvordan denne forandring i vores kollektive fornemmelse for tid er knyttet til affekt. Artiklen argumenterer for, at tid og affekt er afgørende for Eliasson og Rosings værk – hvor vi både kan røre og blive berørt af tiden – og således centrale for værkets intention om at skabe opmærksomhed omkring klimaforandringerne.

Forfatterbiografi

Anette Vandsø, Aarhus Universitet

Anette Vandsø er lektor ved Aarhus Universitet, Institut for Kommunikation og Kultur og arbejder p.t. på et forskningsprojekt om vores historisk foranderlige naturforhold og dets udtryk i kunsten. Hun har publiceret bredt om emnet i artikler som »Listening to the Dark Side of Nature« (2016), »Kunsten at tale miljø« (2017) samt »Kunst for en klimaforandret verden« (2019). Derudover var hun medredaktør på kataloget til ARoS’ udstilling The Garden: End of Times, Beginning of Time.
