The article examines which elements of teaching practical skills, health education lecturers found suitable or unsuitable for digitalization during the Corona pandemic. The empiri consists of interviews with six lecturers from three health educations, who all taught practical skills during the lockdown in spring 2020. The lecturers describe how the teaching was organized during the lockdown and reflects upon which elements they will keep in future education, both online and in the practical skills labs. The analysis shows that teaching theory and skills demonstration is suitable for digitalization, preferably as a video, and can be placed as preparation for training in the skills lab. This gives more time for training the skills in authentic contexts in the skill lab.
