Matematikstuderendes oplevelse af faget i overgangen fra gymnasie til universitet

Resumé

Dette casestudie udforsker den affektive påvirkning af studerende i deres første år på matematikstudiet baseret på Schindler og Bakkers affektive felt (2022). Fokus ligger på overgangen fra gymnasiet til universitetet, og hvordan både 1.- og 3.-semesterstuderende håndterer denne overgang i forhold til deres affektive forbindelse til matematik. Metodemæssigt anvendes kvalitative tilgange, såsom visuelle repræsentationer og fokusgruppeinterviews. Resultaterne indikerer, at opfattelsen af matematik ændres fra værktøj til videnskab hos de studerende i case-studiet, hvilket påvirker deres selvtillid i matematik efter et års studie. Studiet danner grundlag for anbefalinger til undervisere og institutionsledere om at støtte studerende i overgangen mellem gymnasiet og universitetet.
