Analyse af kunstværker i et interdisciplinært samarbejde mellem kunsthistorikere, konservatorer og naturvidenskab bidrager med mere end summen af de enkelte discipliner. Med inklusion af informationer fra værkernes materialitet bliver vi i stand til at vise nye aspekter af den kunstneriske aktivitet. Herved opstår ikke kun nye komplekse kunstvidenskabelige forståelser, men også hidtil upåagtede relationer til andre værkers tilblivelse.
