Visuel og auditiv animation i middelalderens mekaniske klokker og automater
Resumé
Det mekaniske urværk udvikles i 1300-tallet som et animeret billedværk:
en mekanisme til visuel og auditiv anskueliggørelse af en ny, moderne tid.
Figurures maskinelle klokkeringning ledsages af anskuelige automater og
animationer, som spiller en konstituerende rolle i den mentalitetshistoriske
forandring af tidsopfattelsen – fra levet legemstid til en automatisk, horologisk
mekanisering af tiden.
