About the Journal

Aims and Scope 

Danish Journal of Education Studies is a forum for inquiries and discussions of education studies issues regarding education and learning in relation to society, including for example organizational, managerial, administrative, governance-related, diagnostics of the contemporary, and politics of knowledge perspectives on education, pedagogy, teaching, and skills development, as well as the tension between society and individual. 

Danish Journal of Education Studies is a forum that supports the preparation and dissemination of scientific studies and discussions as an ‘open access’ journal. Danish Journal of Education Studies aims towards a strengthening of Education Studies as a discipline both internally and externally through the publication of peer-reviewed papers and other disseminative and debating contributions. 

Danish Journal of Education Studies is a supportive forum where editors, reviewers, and mentors support and qualify the papers in different ways, based on the desires of the authors. The operation of the journal and its editorial work takes place in a collaboration among employees at the Department of Education Studies, Danish School of Education, Aarhus University. 

Danish Journal of Education Studies is a forum open to papers written by students or researchers, or in collaboration between students and teachers at all higher education levels. Danish Journal of Education Studies belongs at the Department of Education Studies, Danish School of Education, Aarhus University, but welcomes contributions from other departments, schools, and institutions, as well as international contributions.
