Et kultursitueret perspektiv på kunstens udvikling med digital teknologi igennem 30 år i Danmark

Hvordan kan vi forstå teknologiens rolle i kunstens udvikling – og hvilken betydning har denne forståelse for, hvordan vi historiserer kunsten nu og i fremtiden? Disse spørgsmål danner udgangspunkt for artiklen, der undersøger et kultursitueret perspektiv på kunstens udvikling med digital teknologi. Med afsæt i en empirisk kortlægning af danske kunstpraksisser gennem tre årtier udfordrer artiklen etablerede lineære og teknologideterministiske fortællinger om digital kunst og peger på nye måder at forstå og historisere kunsten – ikke som drevet af teknologisk udvikling alene, men som situeret i kulturelle, sociale og æstetiske kontekster.Referencer
