Resumé

This article discusses the motif of reproductive work as it pops up in Scandinavian poetry in the 1960s and 70s. Shopping for groceries, the peeling and cooking of potatoes and the like are activities that the works of for instance Inger Christensen, Kirsten Thorup, Vita Andersen and Sonja Åkesson mark with a conspicuous poetic intensity that revaluates domestic/reproductive work as work proper.
