Koncept til en ny dansk-estisk ordbog

Abstract

This article gives a first presentation of the concept for a new Danish-Estonian multifunctional dictionary. The dictionary is to be compiled in co-operation between Centre for Lexicography, at The Aarhus School of Business, represented by Professor Henning Bergenholtz, and the Danish Language section, at the University of Tartu, Estonia. The dictionary aims at advanced users, and will come to comprise ca. 40.000 lemmas, mainly selected according to the most frequently used Danish words. The article gives a presentation of both the macro- and the microstructure of the dictionary according to the needs of the users aimed at. The article ends with a short discussion of the problems that the dictionary might to face.
