Abstract

Lexicography and language technology have traditionally been seen
as two distinct disciplines. In addition to pointing at the common
need to manage huge lemma lists in one way or another, the present
paper argues for conducting lexicographical and language technology
projects in an integrated way, with the same lemma list for both
dictionary and grammatical analyser/generator. This is especially
important for small language communities, which lack the resources
to uphold several parallel lexical databases.
