Resumé

Industriel biosocialitet beskriver de kontekstualiserede biosociale relationer mellem flere arter, som er blevet forvandlet af den hurtige acceleration af livsprocesser i det Antropocæne. Med dette begreb undersøger vi, hvordan nye former for intimitet og stadig mere komplekse dimensioner af andetgørelse og fremmedgørelse breder sig i rum, der er domineret af senkapitalistiske krav til vækst og effektivitet i industriel svineproduktion. 

Denne artikel studerer, hvordan landarbejdere forvalter og passer industrigrise ved at tilpasse sig de daglige møder på en konventionel svinefarm. Ved at fokusere på landmændenes og arbejdernes multisensoriske repertoire beskriver vi, hvordan disse praksisser mobiliseres og forfines i en industriel logik. Artiklen udfordrer antagelsen om, at multisensorisk viden typisk modsætter sig logikker om kommodificering og objektivering. Vi viser i stedet, hvordan multisensoriske praksisser opererer for at opretholde og forstærke andetgørende og fremmedgørende logikker i griseproduktionen.
