Abstract

The article presents some data from Religionsvidenskabeligt Tidsskrift’s activities the last 40 years (1982-2022), placing a particular focus on the various contributions by Hans Jørgen Lundager Jensen. Based on the formalities of the journal, the article conducts a system theoretical analysis of Religionsvidenskabeligt Tidsskrift’s referencing style, taking a point of departure in the work of Roy A. Rappaport. Through the analysis, development, adaptations, and malapdations are discussed, as well as Hans Jørgen Lundager Jensen’s role in such systemic processes.
