Udviklingsforskningens indflydelse: betydningen af forskningskonsensus og politisk polarisering

Udviklingsforskningen har tradition for at være i tæt udveksling med udviklingspraksis. Men vi ved for lidt om de omstændigheder, der gør, at udviklingsforskningen har indflydelse. Denne artikel undersøger betydningen af forskningsfaglig konsensus og polarisering af politikområdet for forskningens indflydelse i Danmark og England. To casestudier af hhv. forskningsfeltet om politisk økonomi- analyse og forskningsfeltet om bistandens effekt viser, at en bred og stærk konsensus og en lav polariseringsgrad kan påvirke udviklingspolitik. Dette medfører dog ikke nødvendigvis, at forskningsindsigterne også tages til indtægt i implementeringsfasen.
