Abstract

English-Swedish Name Dictionary contains 3600 English proper names which are written in a different way in Swedish. The dictionary includes names of countries, rivers and cities, kings and saints, people and places of the Bible and the Greek mythology, as well as titles ofbooks, comics and plays. The main sources are monolingual encyclopaedias.
