Lydrevolutionen og håndteringen af støj under Københavns industrialisering ca. 1850-1910

Artiklen undersøger håndteringen af støj under den københavnske industrialisering i anden halvdel af 1800-tallet i et lydhistorisk perspektiv. Med udgangspunkt i den internationale forskning i periodens såkaldte lydrevolution undersøges det, hvordan industrialiseringen konkret påvirkede og omdefinerede det københavnske byrum på henholdsvis gadeplan, på arbejdspladsen og i nabolaget, samt hvordan oplevelsen af støj og strategier for dens inddæmning og håndtering udviklede sig i perioden under indflydelse af nye lyttepraksisser og en øget opmærksomhed på lyd og larm i flere samfundslag.
