Den danske lovgivning forsøger at afholde folk fra at blive prostituerede eller surrogatmødre. Men når prostitution og surrogatmoderskab sammenlignes med andre tilladte erhverv eller praksisser, adskiller de sig ikke i en moralsk relevant forstand. Lovgivningen bør derfor lempes på begge områder. Lempelsen forventes samtidig at modvirke det stigma, erhvervene synes at være behæftet med.
