Politisk effektivitetsfølelse og politisk tillid blandt efterkommere: betydningen af opfattet offentlig modvilje mod muslimer og flygtninge

Resumé

Hvordan påvirkes den politiske integration af etniske minoriteter, når de oplever et politisk klima med udbredt modvilje over for ikkevestlig indvandring? Dette vigtige, men underbelyste spørgsmål undersøges gennem et unikt dansk survey fra 2018 blandt 20- til 30-årige efterkommere og en kontrolgruppe med dansk oprindelse. Undersøgelsen går videre end tidligere studier og analyserer sammenhængen mellem de unge voksnes egen opfattelse af offentlig modvilje mod muslimer og flygtninge og deres politiske effektivitetsfølelse samt politiske tillid. Analysen viser en markant stærkere sammenhæng blandt muslimske efterkommere, og særligt hvis de er meget religiøse, men kun i forhold til ekstern politisk effektivitetsfølelse og politisk tillid. Den interne politiske effektivitetsfølelse står forholdsvis upåvirket tilbage, hvilket indikerer et uudnyttet politisk mobiliseringspotentiale.
