Funktion och attityd i Svensk konstruktionsordbok

Resumé

The purpose of this paper is to discuss functional use of the different categories of phrases in the forthcoming phraseological dictionary Svensk konstruktionsordbok. Two primary functions are introduced, informational function and pragmatic function, and three secondary functions, comparative function, evaluative function and modal function. The paper also deals with the relationship between functions and attitudes. A model for analysis of functions used in the dictionary is introduced.
