Resumé

Siden de første anbefalinger for brugen af point-of-care ultralyd på danske akutafdelinger blev offentliggjort i 2014, er akutmedicin blevet etableret som et selvstændig speciale i 2017, og den fortsatte udvikling og forskning inden for ultralyd har skabt et behov for en opdatering af det eksisterende holdningspapir.

Formålet med dette holdningspapir fra Ultralydsudvalget under Dansk Selskab for Akutmedicin er at beskrive ultralydsprotokoller, uddannelse, organisation, retlige forhold og forskning inden for point-of-care ultralyd i det akutmedicinske speciale i Danmark.
