In connection with the TV series Demenskor, broadcast by DR in the autumn of 2024, a survey of dementia-friendly singing activities was conducted in the spring of 2025. The survey shows that more than 200 dementia-friendly singing activities were taking place in Denmark at the time of the study, distributed across 70 municipalities. Approximately 25% of the activities were directly inspired by the TV series. These figures should be regarded as minimum estimates, as the survey was not conducted systematically but rather as a broadly distributed questionnaire sent to all known stakeholders.
