Abstract
Artiklen beskriver udviklingen af et integreret mikrofluidisk system til analyse af kromosomale translokationer. Visionen er “high throughput” diagnostik baseret på en enkelt blodprøve. Kombinationen af mikroteknologi, molekylær genetik og overfladefysik illustrerer fysikkens rolle i moderne medicinsk teknologi. Artiklen diskuterer både tekniske udfordringer og klinisk potentiale. En klar demonstration af, hvordan nanoteknologi kan transformere diagnostik.
