Abstract

This article builds on a presentation given at the International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims (IRCT) symposium in Mexico City in December 2016. The symposium theme was ‘Delivering on the promise of the right to rehabilitation’ and was attended by representatives from torture rehabilitation centres across the world.
