Focus and Scope
TfS publishes novel linguistic research from all fields in the discipline (phonetics/phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, discourse analysis, applied linguistics ...). Particularly, research papers on the Nordic languages are encouraged.
Peer Review Process
Research papers submitted to TfS will be reviewed by 2 linguistic specialists. As a rule, authors will be notified about acceptance in 6 months.
From 2003 (one issue, fall) to 2005 TfS was published 2 issues a year, one non-thematically bound spring issue, one topic-bound issue in fall. In 2006 there will be only one double-issue, a special topic first section and a second section with thematically unbound articles. From 2007 on the journal will exclusively be published electronically with topic issues and thematically non-bound issues.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
