Resumé

This article challenges the presumption of ‘humane pupils’ in L1-Danish by re-thinking pupils as posthuman bodies entangled to everything around them in ecocentrism. We develop on the theoretical framework of Karin Murris and her concept of ‘the posthuman child’ by using the agential realism of Karen Barad on three empirical impacts with picture books, process drama and three eight-year-old pupils in L1-Danish primary school. The posthuman pupil becomes with ecocentric entanglements in the L1-subject through encounters with bodies, affects, texts and rhythms.
