Requirements for All Submitted Manuscripts

Manuscript Format and Length
Manuscripts must be submitted via the https://tidsskrift.dk platform in Word format.
The manuscript must not exceed 40 standard pages, including references and notes, unless otherwise agreed with the editorial board.

Author Information
Include the author’s name, academic degree, position/title, and institutional affiliation directly below the title.

Abstract
Provide a brief abstract (max. 200 words) summarizing the article’s topic, content, and conclusion. The abstract should be placed below the title and author information and may be written in both Danish and English.
Also include 3–6 keywords.

Formatting
The entire manuscript must follow APA 7th edition formatting.
Use Times New Roman, font size 12, and line spacing 1.15.
Minimize formatting: avoid hyphenation, varying font sizes or types, centered text, ALL CAPS, headers/footers, etc.
Use italics only (not bold or underline) for emphasis.
Limit the use of quotation marks, hyphens, and italics. Never use multiple consecutive spaces.

Paragraphs
Start new paragraphs and sections with a line break, not indentation.
Use subheadings to structure the text.
After subheadings, quotes, figures, tables, etc., insert a line break without indentation.
Ensure the structure and hierarchy of the text is clear and consistent.

References
References should be listed after the main text and only include works cited in the article.
The reference list must follow APA 7th edition guidelines.
Include DOI addresses where available.

Notes
Use regular numbers (not Roman numerals) for notes, and place them as endnotes (not footnotes) at the end of the manuscript, after the references.
Limit notes to what is strictly necessary—preferably integrate the content into the main text.
Note markers should be placed immediately after punctuation (e.g., period, comma).
If the note refers to a single word, place the marker directly after the word and any following punctuation.

Tables, Figures, and Models
Tables, figures, and other illustrations must be numbered and titled.
Clearly indicate their placement within the manuscript.
Figures and drawings should be inserted in the text where they are to appear and also uploaded as separate files.
