Abstract
Aquaporiner præsenteres som naturens højeffektive vandkanaler med potentiale i teknologisk membranudvikling. Artiklen forbinder molekylær struktur, selektivitet og transportteori med anvendelser i vandrensning. Der redegøres for samspillet mellem proteinstruktur og lipidmembran. Biofysik i praksis – og et stærkt eksempel på tværfaglig innovation.
