Abstract
Jaksland analyserer de ofte omdiskuterede forsøg på at anvende kvantemekaniske begreber som superposition og entanglement i samfundsvidenskaberne. Med en skarp sondring mellem metaforisk og faktisk anvendelse af kvanteteori i sociale modeller, gennemgår han centrale argumenter fra Alexander Wendt og Karen Barad, og diskuterer både eksperimentelle psykologiske resultater og deres kvantemekaniske modeller. Artiklen fremhæver vigtige kritikpunkter – såsom problemer med dekohærens og modellernes matematiske fleksibilitet – og spørger til sidst, om kvantemetafysik reelt kan understøtte nye sociale teorier. Et veldokumenteret bidrag til grænsefeltet mellem fysik og filosofi.
