Resumé
Fem år efter en omfattende reform af de gymnasiale uddannelser giver artiklen en lidtpersonligt præget status over fagene matematik, fysik og kemi i det almene gymnasium (stx). Gennemgåendehar fagene klaret sig godt i forandringerne, men der er på en lang række områder pladstil og behov for forbedringer. Endnu større udfordringer venter imidlertid hele uddannelsessystemet. Five years after a major reform of Danish upper secondary education, this articlegives a somewhat personal review of the present status of mathematics,physics, and chemistry in the Danish gymnasium (stx). Overall, these threesubjects have fared well in the process of reform, but there are a number ofareas where improvements could and should be made. The most serious challenge,however, is a serious lack of teachers now and in the future.
