Uso de herramientas de inteligencia artificial en la enseñanza del español como segunda lengua

Amidst the growing integration of AI in education, this study examines the use of specific tools like Mizou.com for conversational practice and Grok for assessment assistance in teaching Spanish as a second language. It explores how these tools enhance personalization, accessibility, and efficiency in language education while addressing limitations such as cultural nuances and emotional engagement. Initial results from a 22-student implementation show significant time savings (54.09%–61.82%) in assessment and improved data-driven instruction. The findings suggest that AI fosters inclusive learning environments aligned with Universal Design for Learning principles, though human supervision remains crucial. Future research should explore long-term impacts and cultural competence in AI systems.
