About the Journal
NORDICA – Journal of Nordic Literary History and Aesthetics is housed at the University of Southern Denmark.
NORDICA was initiated in 1984 by a circle of academics at Odense University, now University of Southern Denmark. Throughout the journals existence it has had a high ranking internationally.
NORDICA is a peer reviewed journal of research within humanities and art publishing articles and reviewing research publications on literature, culture and art within the Nordic region.
NORDICA offers open access in the firm belief that free public access to research encourages a larger global exchange of knowledge.
The journal accepts articles and reviews in Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, German and English.
Contributors are welcome to submit manuscripts throughout the year. Deadline for the actual year is 1 June.
The digitalization of previous editions of NORDICA is ongoing and will be launched on this site. Previous printed editions can be required at the University Press of Southern Denmark.
