Abstract

Forfatterne giver et kompakt indblik i, hvordan Bohrs ideer blev fundament for semiklassiske beskrivelser af kollisioner mellem ladede partikler. Artiklen diskuterer overgangen mellem klassiske og kvantemekaniske modeller og eksemplificerer, hvordan semiklassiske beregninger fortsat er effektive og intuitive. Bohrs rolle i at bygge bro mellem billeder og formalisme fremhæves. Artiklen demonstrerer, at semiklassiske metoder ofte giver indsigt med relativt enkel matematik, selv når fuldt kvantemekaniske beregninger er tilgængelige.
